Everjoy’s unique blend of experience across hospitality, education, disability support and social work combine to make her a compassionate and dedicated Rehabilitation Consultant. Her professional journey spans over nineteen years in the hospitality industry, where she developed strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills. This experience shaped her deep appreciation for human connection and service, forming the foundation of her human-centred practice.
While working as a Support Teacher with children living with learning disabilities, Everjoy discovered her passion for empowerment and advocacy helping individuals overcome barriers to participation and achieve meaningful life goals. This journey assisted her transition into the social work and rehabilitation field, which reflects her belief that true service goes beyond meeting physical needs; it is about fostering wellbeing, dignity, and inclusion.
Everjoy’s background in Sociology and her Master of Social Work (Qualifying) have strengthened her understanding of the social structures that shape human experiences. She recognises the vital role of institutions such as family, school, and community in individual development and recovery. Her studies have equipped her with a strong appreciation of empowerment, social justice, and the power of collective social action.
At the core of Everjoy’s work is her commitment to promoting recovery, resilience, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes. She adopts trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches, collaborating with clients, employers, and health professionals to create pathways for positive change.
In 2022, Everjoy made the move to Australia, continuing her professional growth through disability and rehabilitation work. She is driven by her passion for supporting people facing vulnerability or disadvantage and she believes that every person has the potential to rebuild, recover, and thrive when given the right support.
