Carol-Lynn began her career as an Occupational Therapist working as a Physical Rehabilitation Practitioner for the Natalspruit Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa. After gaining experience as a Physical Rehabilitation Practitioner, she then established a private practice, where she worked as a Neurological Rehabilitation Practitioner for five years. Here, Carol-Lynn progressed to case management for Return to Work, Functional Capacity Evaluations, and Vocational Assessments. She also provided training workshops in case management for an array for Occupational Therapists.

In 2023, Carol-Lynn relocated from South Africa to Australia where she has continued to progress in her role as a Rehabilitation Consultant by incorporating her knowledge of the Insurance Scheme to provide a wide array of services to clients. She has a passion for working in a team to collaborate and identify gaps in return-to-work and promoting a holistic approach to work retention. Carol-Lynn has a special interest in Vocational Rehabilitation and uses her knowledge to offer individualised graded return-to-work plans to the injured person’s needs, as well as offering in-work support. 

Carol-Lynn uses her comprehensive expertise and knowledge in Occupational Rehabilitation in explaining the Worker’s Compensation Scheme in an easy, and understandable approach to her clients. She incorporates her strong interviewing, communication, and interpersonal skillset to support each client in returning to the workplace through an unconditional and positive mindset. She utilises a client-centred approach in her work and draws on her knowledge and experience to assist with motivating each client in aiding their return to work.
