Biography<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t[vc_column_text animation=”animation bottom-to-top” el_class=”description-text”]Jessica commenced her career as a Social Worker working as a Youth Advocacy and Support Worker for the Micah Projects. Jessica began her position with a range of transferrable skills from her extensive history of working with vulnerable people. Jessica has worked in a vast variety of settings, with the specialisations of working with young people, people living with disabilities, and child protective services. In 2021, Jessica commenced working as a Direct Service Facilitator and specialised in youth counselling, family counselling, crisis intervention, and advocation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since joining Ascent Rehabilitation in 2021, Jessica has progressed in her role as a Rehabilitation Consultant through working with a variety of clients of different age profiles with an extensive range of mental health and physical issues. Jessica has a passion for working with younger people in advocating for their goals and supporting their journey to their pre-injury lifestyle. Jessica has a great belief in providing each client with integrity, dignity, and with a non-judgemental attitude to create a trusted, respected, and healthy working relationship. Jessica utilises her expertise in the field as a Social Worker to offer emotional and functional support in assisting a client in their everyday life. Due to her exceptional interpersonal skills Jessica has quickly established herself within the Industry and is one of our most specifically requested consultant for new referrals. While Jessica\u2019s skillset and approach leads her to be very effective on mental health claims, she has also demonstrated herself to be equally influential on complex physical claims.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jessica possesses unique knowledge of emotional intelligence for those living with a disability, which aids her interpersonal skills with using effective verbal communication, advocating for a client\u2019s emotional wellbeing, and providing efficient counselling and motivation techniques.
